Speculative Fiction Author JC De La Torre announced he is holding a contest worth $500 in prizes for fans who purchase his novel [i]Ancient Rising[/i] on April 30th at Amazon.com

Underground Speculative Fiction author JC De La Torre announced via his website http://www.jcdelatorre.com a new contest that promotes the re-launch of his critically acclaimed fantasy thriller, Ancient Rising.

The re-launch is designed to attract new fans to De La Torre’s Rise of the Ancients series and create more interest for the next installment, Rise of the Ancients – Annuna, expected to be released later this summer.

On April 30th, 2009, contestants are to go to the U.S. based Amazon.com website and purchase Ancient Rising. Once they receive their confirmation email from Amazon, they must send an email to an email address specifically set up for the contest (details on De La Torre’s website). From the entries received, a drawing will be held on May 31st to determine prize winners. Only orders placed on the Amazon site on April 30th will be eligible for the contest and entries must be emailed in by May 2nd, 2009.

Prizes include –
Grand Prize - $300 USD and an autographed copy of Rise of the Ancients – Annuna (when released)
2nd Place - $100 USD and an autographed copy of Rise of the Ancients – Annuna (when released)
