FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 20, 2009 --
Ottawa, ON, April 20, 2009, Ian Graham announced today that TheCodeFactory (www.thecodefactory.ca) will contribute to Lead to Win (LTW). The LTW program (www.leadtowin.ca) is designed to create knowledge jobs and retain technology talent in Canada’s Capital Region. LTW is for talented individuals who are serious about launching new technology businesses. LTW is free to qualified applicants.
“TheCodeFactory offers LTW participants an active community driven space, opportunities to connect with other likeminded individuals and a novel approach to innovation,” stated Ian Graham. “LTW start-ups and entrepreneurs will have access to private office space, private meeting rooms and casual drop in space on an as-required basis. Much more valuable than the space is the learning community that has developed around our facility.”
“TheCodeFactory is a key component in our drive for massive innovation in Canada’s Capital Region. We are delighted that it will contribute to the success of LTW,” stated Tony Bailetti, Director of Ontario’s Talent First Network and Carleton University’s Technology Innovation Management program. “The technology start-ups launched by LTW will lever TheCodeFactory’s unique learning environment.”
LTW participants will benefit from many of the TheCodeFactory’s services. TheCodeFactory offers (i) an active, engaging and collaborative environment for peer to peer learning; (ii) hosts events which are deeply rooted in the technology community it serves; and (iii) connects mentors and coaches with founders of start-ups.
LTW is sponsored by the City of Ottawa, Ontario’s Talent First Network, Carleton University, and Ottawa Chamber of Commerce. Space in the May-June session is limited to 30 participants.
