Independence Day

(Free-Press-Release.com) April 25, 2009 -- Independence Day is approaching and what better way to show your love to your country than to donate to the soldiers who are protecting it. Our great nation is what it is today because of the brave soldiers who have put their lives on the line to keep us safe. These soldiers have put their lives on hold to live thousands of miles away from their homes. They are subjected to extreme high temperatures and dangerous terrain. Many of our soldiers are scared, but they face their fears and fight for the freedom of their family, friends, and country.

Since the start of the Global War on Terror in 2003 more than one million wounded soldiers have come home from the war needing medical attention. They are unable to find employment because of their disabilities. The jobs that they have once had they are no longer able to do. Soldiers are coming home with nowhere to go and no family to return to. How do we expect this soldier to succeed in life if he has no one to help him on his way? More than forty thousand more soldiers were unable to make It home with their lives. That is more than forty thousand families who are without a mother, father, son, husband, daughter, etc. They have given their lives to make the lives of Americans better. These selfless acts should not be looked over and forgotten. We need to remember the soldiers who have lost their lives to the safety of our future and show our support for their families. We should also make a stand for those who have been wounded in battle and make sure that they receive the medical treatment that they need. You can help to make a change in the life of a U.S. soldier.
