FirstSight launches first 3D/4D ultrasound imaging office in Issaquah

Created as an integrated approach to prenatal care, FirstSight partners with the patients care providers to enhance the prenatal experience. Founder, Kyle Brennan explains “With new data mounting to support the benefits of advanced ultrasound technology, I simply want to help parents bond with their babies by offering them a glimpse into their baby’s world.”

About 3D/4D Ultrasound

3D ultrasound is a medical ultrasound technique, often used during pregnancy, providing three dimensional images of the fetus. Often these images are captured rapidly and live to produce a "4D ultrasound".

Clinical research has proved that ultrasounds positively influence and strengthen the bond between parents and baby. A study published in the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine 3D ultrasounds appear to more positively influence the perceptions of mothers to their babies after birth compared to 2D ultrasounds. 3D ultrasounds may have a greater impact on the maternal-fetal bonding process.

FirstSight is the first elective 3D/4D prenatal imaging facility in Issaquah. Sonographer and owner, Ms. Kyle Brennan, has 35 years of experience in ultrasound imaging. Registered in 1983, her career has included both diagnostic clinical imaging and commercial ultrasound positions. Having spent the last seven years scanning with 4D technology at a local ultrasound manufacturer, she has seen the positive bonding effects these surface rendered images have on parents and family members. Being able to facilitate this connection between the family and the baby is the reason FirstSight was created.
