FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 28, 2009 --
The creator of Flu-Forum.com is a busy woman! She the mother of 4-year-old-twins, and is an Ethnographer with a degree in Anthropology who is currently listed on the Illinois Department of Public Health Nursing Assistant Registry. She has special interests in the creation of websites, medical research and is also a student nurse.
The inspiration for Flu-Forum.com came to Mrs. Owen as she tried to access health-related; care-provider instructions, patient care procedures and news, but was unable to find a quick resource/guide all-in-one. To solve this problem Mrs. Owen decided to create a free community access wiki site which could easily bring it all together in one place. What makes Flu-Forum.com unique is that is allows the registered users of the community a great deal of autonomy concerning contribution/editing ability and generation of their own articles and blogs.
Flu-Forum.com offers interested persons a way to obtain up-to-date RSS news feeds, share in discussions, blogs, articles, polls, quizzes and more, while participating in the community as well. Because of the recent events, concerning the spread of Swine Flu, Flu-Forum.com is being updated/changed daily and feedback/comments concerning the functionality, etc. are greatly appreciated.
Mrs. Owen's goal is to keep Flu-Forum.com a free community resource, now and in the future; therefore any modest donations, paid advertisements or public domain content/submissions would be appreciated to help achieve that goal. The aim is to make the website a success and she hopes that community members will participate in making that happen.
