- DKNY

DKNY (Donna Karan New York) is the label of fashion designer Donna Karan. It is also the name of a clothing store in New York City featuring Donna Karan's associated line. The modern apparel and accessories corporation, DKNY, was founded in 1985 in New York by Donna Karan, head designer, and her late husband, Stephan Weiss. Karan had a challenging goal of combining comfort and luxury in her clothing lines to appeal to her target market. Karan believes that whatever design she creates, it begins and ends with the body. DKNY became a publicly-traded venture 1996, and in 2001, was purchased by LVMH, Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton, a French luxury corporation.

- Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de la Renta (born July 22, 1932) is a leading fashion designer. Oscar de la Renta (born Oscar Aristides Renta Fiallo) was born in Santiago de los Caballeros in Dominican Republic, to a Dominican mother and a Puerto Rican father. At the age of 18 he left the Dominican Republic to study in Spain, where he studied painting at the Acade of San Fernando in Madrid. He quickly changed his focus to fashion. While living in Spain, he became interested in the world of design and began sketching for leading Spanish fashion houses, which soon led to an apprenticeship with Spain's most renowned couturier, Cristóbal Balenciaga. Later, de la Renta left Spain to join Antonio Castillo as a couture assistant at Lanvin in Paris.

- De roemer

"de Roemer" is a luxury fashion label created by Tamsin de Roemer, known for her association with Jean Muir, Koji Tatsuno, Jade Jagger, and Asprey & Garrard. "de Roemer" was launched in 2004 with Justin Packshaw. The label comprises collections of super glamorous modern classic cashmere for men and women, original, dynamic handbags and fine jewellery. Since launching, the label has enjoyed great reviews and press and is stocked in some of the world’s most influential shops. It has recently launched a fully e-commerce website, to much acclaim.

- Diesel S.p.A.

Diesel S.p.A. is an Italian design company. It is best known for clothing aimed at the youth market, particularly jeans, but the brand can now be found on everything from male thongs to perfume. The company is owned by its founder Renzo Rosso, and is based in Molvena in northern Italy.

- Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana is an Italian luxury fashion house. The company was started by the Italian designers Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana and is based in Milan, Italy. By 2005 their turnover was €750 million.
