THE NEW ROCK GROUP THE JOHN BERWYN BAND CONSIDERING LOCAL COMPETITION TO RAISE 36 SCHOLARSHIPS

BERWYN, April 29, 2009 – The new rock group The John Berwyn Band is considering a local competition to raise 36 scholarships for underprivileged children with musical talents. Fundraising will be led by johnberwynshave36.com. The band

is the brainchild of John Molini and Professor John J. Hardek, both of Berwyn. Members of The John Berwyn Band include bassist and former professional baseball player, Jon Shave, drummer West Dean, and lead vocalist is John Berwyn Shave. The group has performed to packed houses at the Water Side Gallery and Watershed Studios.

10 songs are being written for the debut album, which is to be titled The John Berwyn Band V1, to be released on JohnBerwynShave36.com in the coming year. The album will have songs such as 'Running With Angels', 'Barbers Berwyn', 'Batting, Fielding and Pitching', 'A Torn Meniscus', ‘The Partial Removal’ and more, with lyrics written by John Berwyn Shave, John Molini, and John J. Hardek. A demo with some

rough tracks will be unleashed on johnberwynshave36.com in the weeks ahead to give you a small taste of what's to come!
