Adventure Boot Camp Comes to Metairie , Metairie Adventure Fitness Boot Camp for Women will start May 18th, 2009
This isn’t the USA military boot camp or G.I. Jane’s, but just like the real thing you can expect to arrive early. Camp starts at 5:30 AM! The one-hour per day Mandeville Boot camp runs for four weeks. Women can choose the intensive five days a week Monday-Friday program or a three-day per week program. Jonas Deffes, Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Metairie Adventure Fitness Trainer runs the camp.

Jonas teaches in a coaching style, so don’t expect the drill sergeant of a Military Boot Camp. Your drill sergeant is your commitment to the program. The camp includes a variety of exercises, running, jumping; weight training, obstacle courses, abdominal and core training, circuits and much more. Jonas says other benefits of boot camp training are experiencing a 3-5% reduction in body fat, 5-12 pounds weight loss, 1-3 inch reduction in the midsection and a 100% increase in confidence.
The camp offers the benefits of having an experienced personal trainer to conduct your boot camp experience in an environment with others who share similar goals. Each woman will work at her own level and all levels of fitness are welcome, no one is left behind.
