Basketball Camp in Spain, Summer 2009

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 4, 2009 -- Spanish Language & Basketball Camp is the result of a partnership between ZadorSpain and TAU Cerámica Basketball and Sport Foundation.

Basketball Camp for junior and youth players (aged 13 to 17) combine intensive Basketball instruction for medium and advanced basketball players with Spanish language lessons, activities, and excursions.

Basketball Camp for junior and youth players (aged 13 to 17) combine intensive Basketball instruction for medium and advanced basketball players with Spanish language lessons, activities, excursions, and trips.

Summer immersion programs are the best opportunity for youth students to learn Spanish in Spain and practice the Spanish language, as well as to discover a new culture and make friends with other young boys and girls from all around the world.

This 2-week Basketball Summer Camp with additional Spanish lessons will start on July 12th and finish on July 25th. This coed Basketball camp (for boys and girls) will take place in Vitoria, in the North of Spain. There is an optional weekend in Barcelona from 10th to 12th July, including 2-hotel nights (full board), pick-up service from Barcelona Airport, two guided tours, group leaders, and transfer from Barcelona to Vitoria.


The highlights of this program are:

 Coed Basketball Summer Camp from 11.00 to 20.00 ― Intensive Basketball Instruction for boys and girls
 Summer Camp organized by TAU Baskonia Basketball Club, the last Champion of the Spanish Basketball League (ACB)
 For high school players (13 to 17 years old)
 Complete Camp to develop all the abilities of the young basketball players, emphasizing individual skills
 2 Spanish lessons per day in the morning (usually from 9.00 to 10.30)

 Full board accommodation (3 meals plus 3 complementary "small" meals) with 2 options: host family stay or residence accommodation
 Cultural visits, trips and other activities
 1 full-day excursion (San Sebastián and beach or San Sebastián and visits depending on the weather)
 1 half-day excursion (Bilbao or lakes depending on the weather)
 Local transports
 Vitoria airport, bus or train station pick-up and drop-off
 Pick-up and drop-off from other airports (Bilbao, Santander...) available with an extra cost
 Medical, accident and travel Insurance

The participants will be accommodated in host families or in residences (full board in both cases). This accommodation is included in the program price.

Special offers for clubs, teams, or basketball schools. For every 10 students, a group leader will enjoy this experience for free.
