(Free-Press-Release.com) May 5, 2009 --Douglas Vermeeren has created quite an uproar in the personal development community with a startling new discovery. Vermeeren has just completed the most extensive study on human motivation, performance and success since the days of Napoleon Hill.

Napoleon Hill is considered by many to be the father of the modern day personal development. Best known for his landmark book, "Think and Grow Rich," Hill discovered the formulas for success by conducting extensive interviews with close to 400 of the leading American business professionals of his day.

Vermeeren, known also as North America's Achievement Expert, has picked up where Hill left off by continuing into the research of success. This time including in the research many categories from around the world that Hill had left out, including Athletes, celebrities, technology entrepreneurs, networking marketing millionaires and more.

The results of this research has been startling. "Many of the book and courses on goals and goal achievement are missing fundamental principles to create success." Says Vermeeren. While several of his principles agree with philosophy taught by Hill, there is a new level that Vermeeren has discovered that is particularly relevant to our times. Some of these include what he calls the "laws of probability," "Building effective decision," and the "Essence of being."

While these descriptions may not 'spill the beans' as to what these new teaching are, the results are beginning to speak for themselves. Vermeeren is quick to point out that "Goal setting is not the same as goal accomplishment. And it is one thing to teach a person how to set a goal, but it is quite another thing to teach a person how to start accomplishing what they are writing down."

Vermeeren continues, "There were many missing secrets that I discovered in working directly with these top achievers that could not be learned by studying books about their lives. Some things cannot be learned in a book by alone. Can you imagine someone attempting open heart surgery after only reading books on the subject?" He then went on to compare how many teachers today are teaching lessons they have learned from outdated books, systems and seminars they have read or attended. "It was like making a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy. The further you got from the original source the more distorted the lessons became... Soon there is not a lot of practical value, and the potential for creating real and lasting success is lost."


Vermeeren has indicated that his findings will soon be released in an upcoming book titled, "MAXIMUM RESULTS." "The book," says Vermeeren "is calculated to give people practical tools that will build lasting success in the same way that other top achievers do."
