Linzi Stoppard performs at Arabian Fashion World

The Arab fashion industry is a fast emerging global business with highly talented designers such as Elie Saab taking the world stage.

The show was produced by top European fashion show producer Lesley Goring and choreographer, Ian Mills with make up by Carol Brown and hair by L’Oreal Professionnel’s international ambassadors Royston Blythe and his partner Nick Malenko.

A highlight of the evening was an electronic violin performance by Fuse, featuring Linzi Stoppard (daughter-in-law of Oscar winning playwright Sir Tom Stoppard) and Ben Lee, performing the theme music of Lawrence of Arabia and paying a special tribute to its composer Oscar winning Maurice Jarre, who died last week age 84.

The audience of over 400 guests included Middle Eastern Royalty, Arab and international Ambassadors, celebrities, fashion industry buyers, other VIPs and media.

Arabian Fashion World will take place for three-days in 2010 at InterContinental London Park Lane and will also be staged at the stunning InterContinental Le Grand Paris, on dates to be announced shortly.

Arabian Fashion World is in partnership with Arab British Chamber of Commerce. The role of Arab British Chamber of Commerce (whose headquarters are in London) is to promote trade and business between Britain and the Arab nations.

Dr Afnan Al-Shuaiby, Secretary General and Chief Executive of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce opened Arabian Fashion World alongside Mr Alvaro Rey, General Manager of InterContinental London Park Lane.
