Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center Golf Fore the Animals Set for June 8 at Victoria Club

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 7, 2009 -- The Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center’s inaugural ‘Golf Fore the Animals’ tournament is set to start at 9 a.m. on June 8 at the private Victoria Club in Riverside, CA. Golf Fore the Animals is an 18-hole tournament that will include golf contests and prizes for the top three teams.

The evening banquet features a live auction for an opportunity for two to play in the 2009 Lexus Champions for Charity National Championship in Pebble Beach, CA, as well as raffle prizes.

Contests during the tournament include putting, hole-in-one, longest drive (man and woman), and closest to the pin.

Tournament entry fees are $695 for foursomes, $195 for individuals. Fees include a round of golf, golf cart, boxed lunch, beverages on the course, banquet dinner, and a goody bag. Dinner guest tickets are $45.

Sponsorship opportunities for all budgets are still available. Levels range from $100 to $10,000 with each level providing unique benefits. Individuals also are invited to be sponsors. In-kind donations are needed for the tournament and the evening’s raffle.

All proceeds from the event will help provide food, medical care, training and more for the animals at the Pet Adoption Center as they await their forever homes.

The Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center, 6165 Industrial Ave., Riverside, CA, is a non-profit public benefit charitable organization serving communities in Riverside County and beyond. As the largest no-kill pet rescue organization in Riverside County, RHSPAC accepts owner turn-ins of cats and dogs and transfers from area animal-control agencies.
