FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) May 8, 2009 -- Stillwater, Oklahoma (USA) - LinksAndTraffic.com, a performance based seo service founded in 2005, has been forced to set up a mirror domain at BackLinksAndTraffic.com , due to a domain registrar's failure to run an honest business.

Parava Networks, aka 10-domains.com, had its ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) accreditation terminated, due to its failure to pay its registration fees and to keep clean WHOIS records. See the termination letter from ICANN here: http://www.icann.org/correspondence/burnette-to-valdes-09apr09-en.pdf

Bill Platt, the owner of http://www.LinksAndTraffic.com/ had completed a DNS (Domain Name Server) update in early April, to reflect the changes associated to its coming

move to a new, more powerful server. On May 1st, the old server was shut down, and when it was shut down, all of Platt's more than three dozen websites went offline.

Platt said, "I am really disappointed, in that I did everything that I was supposed to do to ensure a smooth transition from one server to another. But, all of the preparation in the world was not enough to save my bacon."

Even after many attempts to find a solution to this issue through the 10-domains.com support channel, 10-domains.com refuses to offer any support , referring to the ICANN termination as the reason why they cannot help fix this problem. Yet, ICANN says it is still the responsibility of 10-domains.com to fix the problem.

Platt attempted

to go back to his web host to reacquire the old IP address where his old DNS servers were located, but it was not to be. His web hosting company had already shut down that server and that IP address had been returned to the upline provider. Platt explained that going back did not appear to be an option, and that going forward seemed to be his only hope.

So on May 5th, Platt registered a new domain (http://www.BackLinksAndTraffic.com) and parked it on his LinksAndTraffic.com account . This way, the Links And Traffic Program can still be accessed by the public, although as a company which relies heavily on Google search rankings to deliver its customers, the long-term effect of having his site unavailable for an indeterminate amount of time is a real concern.

Bill Platt said his greatest concern was to let the public and his customers know that he is still in business and able to perform his work. Bill also owns other websites such as:

* thePhantomWriters.com - mirrored at: http://www.thephantomwriters.org/
* Article-Distribution.com
* SponsorArticles.com
* and dozens of others...

Platt said he remains confident that once ICANN finishes its work of moving the 36,000 domains supported by 10-domains.com to a new registrar that everything will be back to normal. The only issue he said is that he has no idea how long it will take for ICANN to move his account to a new registrar, where he can finally make changes to his DNS records.
