"DK is a Street Performer" Internet Marketing Contest Announced

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 12, 2009 -- Howie Schwartz , the internet marketer known for making Google cry, issued a challenge last Friday to members of the "90 Day Challenge" group run by Dennis Karganilla and Jimmy Davis. The challenge involves group members trying to place their websites on the first page of Google in organic (free) search. This excludes Pay-Per-Click (Adwords) advertising.

Contest participants were told to use any method necessary to rank on the first page of Google when the term "DK is a Street Performer" is typed in the search field.

Howie Schwartz runs several high-end training programs online. He teaches entrepreneurs how to market online. His specialties include keyword research and Web 2.0 marketing strategies. Training programs range from the low $100's up to $10,000. Many graduates of Schwartz's programs go on to create successful million-dollar online businesses.

The Google ranking contest started off with two participants, Rick Antle and Gary Fogg in the lead, but Liane Carmi of Toms River, NJ quickly took eight of the 10 spots on page one of Google - and at one point had nine out of 10 of the first spots for the key phrase.

"I was able to use techniques I learned while in Howie's Apprentice Program," stated Carmi.
