KINESIS INDUSTRIES LLC LAUNCHES GREEN PRODUCT

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 12, 2009 -- May 12, 2009 (Scottsdale, Ariz.) – Kinesis Industries LLC, a company that develops, manufactures and distributes micro-generation renewable energy products to consumers worldwide, has officially launched an exciting new green product, the K3.

The K3 is a compact wind-and-solar-powered generator about the size of a flashlight that allows users to recharge their iPod, cell phone, MP3, PDA, or other electronic devices using solar and wind power. Outdoors, indoors, domestically or internationally, the K3 is designed to work in any environment.

“The K3 allows anyone to charge their devices at anytime, anywhere in the world,” said Tod Wagenhals, president of Kinesis Industries. “Also, by using the K3, people are literally generating their own power and reducing their carbon footprint.”

The K3 has the largest rechargeable battery capacity of its competitors, meaning that it is ready to use over and over again. It is also a “tribrid” device since it can be charged by wind, sun or electricity from an AC wall outlet. It will work anywhere and in any country so it is ideal for travel and the outdoors. K3 users do not have to be concerned about access to power sources.

A fully charged K3 can charge a mobile phone over five times and an iPod/MP3 player over 10 times. Just one hour of sun and wind provides 30 minutes of talk time and over 300 minutes of MP3 music. However, performance figures may vary based on different mobile phone models and iPod/MP3 player models, as well as sunlight intensity and wind speed consistency.
The K3 originally debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show in January as the K2, but has been upgraded and is now launching as the K3.
