Hard working Americans get stiffed again. That’s right and not just the 12 million unemployed but the millions who will pay for the bail outs in higher taxes for decades. How many politicians have taken a pay cut or have been laid off, yet they are the ones who got us into this mess. Think America, who deregulated, who gave tax breaks to ship jobs out of the US and who keeps tariffs low on imports. You know the answer but what is the solution. GM once the largest corporation in the world is bankrupt. Social security investments in 1966 were called surplus and your retirement money became the source for the spending frenzy of 1966 to 1978. When it ran out, then borrowing money became the answer to the same politicians who robbed social security. In private business they would be locked up. Tax dollars given to companies (who donated millions in political campaigns and lobby efforts) are used for bonus programs and customer perks while hard working Americans are losing their homes. We might as well reach for the Pleiades as to depend on any politician to do what is best for America and not for themselves and their close corporate friends. My bank account is full is a myth for most because we still, in the back of our minds, believe in Washington and the old American dream. The dream is alive but it changes and we must change with it to keep it alive. Chrysler is closing 789 dealerships nationwide with no regard for the people who lose their dream. Get a job, work hard, save and the dream is there. NO! That is the old way when Washington cared and companies cared and the US was the world supplier. Now the same people export your jobs, borrow from China and tax us to support it. There is a way and you can find it. This opportunity as with many others exists in America and is kept quiet so that Americans will work 60 plus hours to be laid off and brushed aside. There are people who care and can help if we look and believe. There will be no bail out however for you because you are not part of the 5% who care about controlling 95% of the country’s wealth and 0% about the people who work to give them that wealth. Live the American Dream and find the way out, fight like Americans have always fought and do not give into the very people who have put us all there.
