( If you make very little income, Gmac will reject your case because they will think you might be able to pay the new reduced payment. On the other hand, if you have too much of income, then they will reject it saying you dont need help as you make enough money )
3) Should be willing to keep the house.
4) Should be able to pay the new reduced payment.
Generally, Gmac offers rate between 2 to 4 % fixed rate and is offering modifications to 8 out of every 10 applications. However to get a perfect modification depends on how professionally and logically we present your case to them.
Below are some of our recent successful modifications with Gmac:
1.
Modified the mortgage for a couple who was 8 months behind on their mortgage payments by making them current and reducing the rate down to 4% fixed from 8.25% saving them $ 590 a month. (Loan modified on January 12th )
2.
Reduced the rate to 5% fixed from a 7.9% adjustable for a family who was about to fall behind. (Loan modified on February 13th )
3.
A family having an adjustable rate of 6%(adjusting ever 6 months) couldn't afford paying a higher payment of $1200 which was $900 before. We got their loan modified to a 5% fixed and helped them save over $250 a month. (Loan modified on March 11th)
