Master Print Group Launches University, A Program for Technical Prepress Training

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 21, 2009 -- With well over 100 years combined experience in the field of computer prepress, the professional team at Master Print Group is launching MPG University. This program is designed to continue the education of the graphic designer into the prepress arena.

Many designers create beautiful work, only to find that it will not print as expected once it is sent to a commercial printing facility. "Our goal is to take good solid design and allow it to flow seamlessly into our prepress environment so that the final printed piece far exceeds the expectations of the designer," said Susan Ishmael, Vice President of Master Print Group.

"Often beautiful designs are very complex in the way the original files are built and put together. It is our goal to teach these designers the basic prepress requirements so that these designs will print as expected with little to no additional expense involved to make them 'prepress friendly'", continued Susan.

Master Print Group is owned and operated by Jon Wilbanks and Susan Ishmael. This brother and sister team have continued the printing heritage that was begun by their parents. Mary Ellen Wilbanks, an original founder, is still active in the business today, along with the third generation, Eddie Wilbanks, who is general plant manager.
