"As soon as the competition was announced, I knew I was gonna win!" said Liane Carmi of Toms River, NJ. Liane had studied with Howie Schwartz since November 2008 and knew Google very well.

Liane was 100% correct. She took over Google page one immediately, never allowing her competition to get more than 4 of the top sites. In fact, towards the end of the competition, she held as many as eight out of 10 spots on page one.

"My goal is to own the first page of Google," stated Liane.

Rick Antle, did quite well in the beginning of the challenge, but suddenly disappeared in the middle of the competition. Making a public announcement, Rick stated that he had taken a break. "I thought I could just come back and everything would be magical. But now I understand that I was mistaken."

Rick was unfortunately correct as well. During the last three days of the competition, he frantically tried writing new press releases and blog posts, but was not able to take over Liane's monopoly of Google page one.

"I'd have my hubpages on the first page of Google for a few hours, and then BAM, Liane's page would be there again. It was an impossible situation!"

Liane is slated to win an Amazon Kindle, which allows consumers to read books downloaded off the internet. When asked about the future of the competition, she stated, "This keyword phrase will always be mine. A year from now, when people look at this case study, they'll say, 'Liane was the queen of the DK is a Street Performer Challenge!'"
