Twin Translations Announces Seminar at American Translators Association’s 50th Annual Conference

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 27, 2009 -- (Las Vegas, NV, May 27, 2009) This week, Twin Translations received notice from the American Translators Association (ATA) that co-owner Judy Jenner’s presentation for the annual conference has been accepted. Judy will give her popular interactive presentation “Lessons from Business School: The Entrepreneurial Linguist” on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York City.

The hour-long presentation, which focuses exclusively on practice, not theory, includes sections on economics, accounting, and entrepreneurship, and has its main focus on marketing translation services. Its main goal is to give attendees the tools they need to market themselves effectively and to start thinking of themselves as real businesses. Judy has presented this workshop around the U.S. as well as in Austria, where it has been very well received. Ms. Jenner said: “It is an honor to be part of the outstanding line-up of speakers for the ATA’s annual conference in New York this year. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and to learning from colleagues.”
