International Life Sciences Students’ Conference Kyiv-2009

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 28, 2009 -- We invite you to take part in International Life Sciences Students’ Conference Kyiv-2009 that will take place from 19th to 23rd August 2009 at Taras Shevchenko National university of Kyiv. It will be the third edition of the conference. Previous ones took place in November 2007 (Slovenia) and September 2008 (Poland). Enormous success of the previous conferences inspired us to organize the next conference in Kyiv.

The main aim of the conference is gathering students from all over the world. We also aspire to increasing of student’s mobility and sharing of information about actual achievements in different fields of life science.

Participants of our conference, BSc, MSc and PhD students of life sciences, will give their presentations in English. They will present results of their own research and extend scientific acquaintances.

Presentations will be arranged into five sections concerning different aspects of natural sciences:
1. Molecular and cellular biology (molecular and cellular mechanisms, genetics, gene engineering, nanobiology, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, cytology)

2. Human and animal physiology (neurophysiology, pharmaco-physiology, psychophysiology, ethology, prevention of human and animal diseases, epidemiology, nutrition and health issues)
3. General biology (zoology, botany, ecology, evolution, paleontology)
4. Physics of alive (medical physics, molecular physics of biological objects, biophysics, astrobiology)
5. Cybernetic section (bioinformatics, biocybernetics, computer and mathematical modeling of biological processes and objects)

Presentations will be evaluated by scientific authorities in each discipline and the best presentations will be awarded.

Participation fee is 50 euro and it includes accommodation, meals, social program and conference materials.
