Child Shield, USA Supports Pres. Regan's 1983 Proclamation As NATIONAL MISSING CHILDREN'S DAY!

More than 2,000 children each day of that number, 200,000 are abducted by family members, and 58,000 are abducted by non-family members. The primary motive for non-family abductions is sexual. Each year 115 children are the victims of the most serious abductions, taken by non-family members and either murdered, held for ransom, or taken with the intent to keep.

With all these alarming statistics, as a concerned citizen and as a parent, Mr. Erick Thomas Shriver took action especially so, after his personal experience of his own son, Thomas Jasper Shriver, then 5 years old sometime of the year 2008 was missing for more than half an hour. Fortunately, minutes before he almost about to call the authorities, he received a phonecall from his former sister-in-law, Mrs. Tara Dille. She informed him that his son was safe with her and that Thomas decided to have his stop at her place when the substitute bus driver believed him to be his look-alike cousin, Tara’s son, Cobin, who took another bus that afternoon.
