North American Rescue To Host Southeastern SWAT Competition Mystery Event

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 5, 2009 -- Greer, SC - North American Rescue will be hosting the 2009 Southeastern SWAT Competition Mystery Event at the NAR facility in Greer, SC on Friday, June 5.

The 2-day competition, sponsored by the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, will include approximately 20 SWAT teams from across the US as well as an international team. The competition was designed to share knowledge and show the necessity of appropriate and expedient medical care in tactical situations, as well as challenge each team’s physical fitness, marksmanship, and decision-making skills while performing under stress. The goal of the competition is that participants will leave better prepared and more confident in their abilities as individuals and as a team.

"We are privileged to take part in hosting an event that will better prepare our law enforcement tactical teams for situations that they may face while performing their duties."

All other competition events will be held at the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Training Center.
