It has been 400 years since Galileo first looked through a telescope and made astronomical observations. As part of the International Year of Astronomy, the Adler is marking this major milestone with a fun-filled free week of hands-on fun exploring this important tool.
Families can enjoy special telescope-themed activities from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., giveaways and they can checkout the Adler’s newest exhibition, Telescopes: Through the Looking Glass, which explorers how these amazing instruments have changed our concept of the Universe and our place in it.
