Motorcycle Art Collective Suzuki Raffle ends in two weeks !

June 8, 2009

Black Sheep Bikes, an UK based biker art collective are raffling off a custom built Suzuki Katana to promote the launch of their new venture.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) June 8, 2009 -- Time is running out to buy your raffle ticket in the Black Sheep Bikes launch raffle. The prize is a custom built 1981 Suzuki Katana worth £4500, as well as runner up prizes of a leather jacket worth £200 and a helmet. The odds are low, so at the moment any ticket has a good chance of winning.

In order to raise more money for charity, Black Sheep Bikes are offering a 2-4-1 deal on the tickets, so for £10 you double your chances of winning the bike.

Black Sheep Bikes are raffling off this stunning custom bike in order to make a donation to Macmillan Cancer and County Air Ambulance Charities, and will use this as a springboard launch the start of their new motorcycle art co-operative.

Black Sheep Bikes are collective of artists from differing backgrounds, who will come together to create guerilla art for the public. They usually shun galleries in order to create art that is immediately accessible to everyone. Previous works have been located on busy road junctions, and have gained a big following in the Midlands.

Although specific details have not been released, the new motorcycle inspired art has attracted glowing reports from the press. The Express and Star have featured founder Nick Clark in three issues in the past few weeks, whilst Dudley MP Ian Austin has voiced his support.

Nick Clark is a Midlands based artist and biker, who is famous for the 15ft Silver Surfer scuplture sited on a busy road junction. Unfortunately this was destroyed by vandals, but spurned Nick into creating a motorcycle based art installation. He has worked with various funded art projects with organisations such as The Public. Other collaborators are Dan 'the ability', a digital artist who has artwork for drum & bass artist Goldie on his portfolio.

The tickets are available to buy from the website http://www.blacksheepbikes.net/raffle.html or from Hein Gericke Dudley, Streetbike Halesowen or Dudley Motorcycle Centre.
