Green Mountain Distillers Product Launch and Re-Branding

The new packaging is a joint effort with The Russell Branding Co. to unify the product line and to bring to the fore the Organic, Hand-Crafted nature of the Original “Sunshine” Vodka. “We always felt that the smooth taste of the Original “Sunshine” recipe would make a great foundation for different flavored vodkas. With so few organic flavors on the market, we saw a niche that we could fill with truly high quality products. Developing the flavors gave us a reason to redesign the brand labeling so that all the products would look like they were part of the same family”, said owner and distiller Tim Danahy.

The Green Mountain Organic Flavors hit a new standard for flavored vodkas. The craftsmen at Green Mountain Distillers have engineered superb, natural tasting flavors that are unlike any other flavored vodkas on the market. According to Howie Faircloth, co-owner of Green Mountain Distillers, “It took us over a year of experimenting with different formulas before we were satisfied with the taste. There are no other flavored vodkas on the market today that come as close to having the taste of real lemons and oranges as the Green Mountain Organic Flavored Vodkas. We are looking forward to working on other flavors for seasonal release.”

Since its initial release in late 2004, “Sunshine” Vodka has quickly become the most popular in state produced vodka and the third largest selling domestic vodka in Vermont. The Green Mountain Organic line can be found in the finest restaurants and establishments across Vermont and now features the Original “Sunshine”, Organic Lemon and Organic Orange Flavored Vodkas, as well as, Green Mountain Organic Maple Liqueur.
