World Expo Shanghai 2010 Gets A New Stage In ‘Baosteel Stage’

United States 11/06/2009- As the days are drawing nearer for the World Expo Shanghai 2010 probably one of the most anticipated events of the year the event organizers are slowly removing the veils from few of the many attractions lined up. The recent naming of a performance stage as ‘Baosteel Stage’ comes under such category only.A former factory near the River Huangpo is playing host to this newly constructed stage which will be used for one of the 7 main performance areas for the World Expo Shanghai 2010. The area would have two stage spread over a region of 11,200 square meters with a capacity of 3,500 spectators. The stage would hold the performances by China’s provinces and municipalities besides other ceremonies. You will find the area decorated with plants with collected rainwater to be used for special effects.The ‘Baosteel Stage’ is over as far as its basic structure goes and the interior designing would start soon on it. The naming ceremony was attended by Shanghai Vice Mayor Ai Baojun, Zhong Yanqun, full time deputy director of Shanghai, World Expo Executive Committee & Xu Lejiang, president of the Baosteel Group.World Expo Shanghai 2010 will take place from May12 to October 31, 2010 which is also the Halloween day on the near the Nanpu-Lupu Bridge on the River Huangpo at the centre of the Shanghai, China.
