Award Winning Fusion Hybrid Available at Maryland Ford Dealer

The award was received by Ford for Fusion’s Smart Gauge with EcoGuide, as well as its interior styling, comfort, safety and value. Ford Motor Company’s director of design Moray Callum believes that the emotional connection is made with a vehicle on the interior of the car and feels as though that is where the customer will notice the quality of the vehicle.

The Ford Fusion Hybrid can reach speeds up to 47 mph while operating on electric power alone. The Fusion’s Smart Gauge design is enabled to help the driver reach maximum fuel efficiency by calculating the average miles per gallon as well as instant miles per gallon. Ford has driven the vehicle more than 1,400 miles on one tank of gas, utilizing conservative driving techniques.

While most Hybrid cars are obscenely priced, the Ford Fusion Hybrid has an MSRP of $27,270. The price also does not include some of the tax incentives offered for purchasing a Hybrid vehicle.
