Dean & Tyler, a namesake of the founders’ dogs, specialize in outfitting medium, large, and extra large breeds with high-quality handmade collars, leashes, harnesses, and muzzles. “From everyday use to professional K9 gear, as long as a dog fits the size requirements, Dean & Tyler has a perfect product for them and their handler” says David Ratner, co-founder.

D&T claims their innovative designs, durable raw materials and premiere craftsmanship are what set them apart from the rest. Collar styles range from plain single-ply leather to luxurious Nappa leather with ornate embellishment. Even at the high-end of the D&T product line, the prices are extremely reasonable. Like all Dean & Tyler products, their collars are handmade using combination tanned leather (chrome salt then vegetable) or neoprene nylon, solid brass or nickel hardware (not just a brass or nickel finish), and wax or neoprene thread.

Dean & Tyler leashes perfectly compliment D&T collars and harnesses in both aesthetic and functional terms. D&T leashes are available in flat or braided leather and nylon, with one or two clasps, with a plain or decorative body and some have a padded handle. A few D&T leashes have a floating ring with a clasp at each end which allows handlers to tether their dogs and to put the leash over their shoulder to free both hands.
