(Free-Press-Release.com) June 12, 2009 --
The Dallas Tea Party, a non-partisan grassroots assemblage of citizen activists, encourages other disenfranchised Americans who are tired and frustrated with Washington’s actions to come and help send the message that enough is enough of their out of control spending, corruption, and excessive taxes.
The free event will take place from 3:00pm to midnight on Independence Day with a 21 minute long fireworks display at 9:30pm. Attendees are encouraged to come early to get a great seat on the grass or the pop-up area. The event will feature a full lineup including many well known area and nationally known bands, engaging speakers, plus games, vendors, prizes, food and drinks including beer for purchase, a Kids Zone with bounce houses and fun slides, and more. Several VIP packages are available to fit any budget featuring cool zones, buffet, VIP parking and a full cash bar. On-site parking will be available for $10.00.
Emceeing the day will be Jeff Bolton and Jon-David Wells, both on-air personalities from 570 KLIF Talk Radio. Speakers at the event will focus on the opportunity for every citizen to make a difference by standing up for liberty and working against further government expansion, bailouts and irresponsible elected officials. Featured speakers include American hero Scott O’Grady, blogger and best-selling author Michelle Malkin with a special appearance by Micky Dolenz, actor and musician of the world famous group The Monkeys. Other esteemed speakers will include Michael Cutler, Michael Johns, Michael Quinn Sullivan, Peggy Venable, Katrina Pierson and Dallas Tea Party organizers Phillip Dennis and Ken Emanuelson.
The law prohibits attendees from bringing alcoholic beverages or glass containers to the event, but coolers containing soft drinks and food are welcome.
