Dr. Mahmoud Al Meshhadani talks about the economy and investments in Iraq

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 17, 2009 -- /1888PressRelease/ The former speaker of the Iraqi parliament Dr. Mahmoud al-Mashhadani is forming a new political party in Iraq to participate in the parliamentary election on January 2010.

In the efforts to develop the economy in Iraq, Dr. Al-meshhadani assures that Iraq is a rich county in resources and invites foreign investments to take parts in the improvement of its natural resources.

In regards to priorities, in Iraq Dr. Al Meshhadani emphasized that investments are highly encouraged in the sectors of power generation, water, health, education, and agriculture. Real estates developments and urban planning are of a great importance.

Dr. Al-meshhadani states that security has improved in Iraq. Some parts of Iraq have already attracted heavy investments because of its security stability.

Among the government’s efforts to attract foreign investments in all of Iraq, Dr. Al-Meshhadani calls on the business community to come to Iraq. The government will secure their presents and provide the appropritate security for their operation. More projects in Iraq means less unemployment. This is a primary goal for the Iraqi government.

Some of the companies operating in Iraq, according to Dr. Al-meshhadani, are from the Unite States, Japan, England, South Korea, Turkey, and Iran.
