SCA USA Track and Field Event Featuring Orange County, CA Active Release Provider

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 18, 2009 -- Coastal Health and Fitness, the offices of Dr. Scott Neubauer DC CSCS, is pleased to report a successful weekend of supplying Active Release Technique® and KinesioTaping® for the 2009 USATF - Southern California Association Masters Track & Field Championships.

This year’s event, taking place on June 6 in the athletic fields of Soka University, featured hundreds of the top masters track and field athletes from all over the United States. Athletes varied in age from mid-30s to mid-90s. Numerous current and former world champions competed in the day-long series of events.

“We really enjoyed being here this year” stated Dr. Neubauer. “I am amazed by how fit and healthy and happy these athletes are.” Dr. Neubauer reported that he treated dozens of athletes during the day of events, beginning early in the day with the 10,000 meters. “It’s so rewarding to be able to donate a few hours of my weekend to these phenomenal athletes. And you cannot imagine how fast and powerful they all are. I’m still in awe of every one of them.”

This year’s event was a warm-up for the West Region Championships, also to be held at Soka Univeristy on June 20-21, 2009. When asked if he would be back to supply therapy for the athletes at the West Region Championships, Dr. Neubauer replied “Absolutely. This is too much fun for me to miss!”

Dr. Neubauer is also a certified coach for USATF. He tells us that he no longer coaches runners, but that he still has a “love for the sport. I do everything I can to support running and runners.” Dr. Neubauer states that he believes he is the only USATF certified coach who is also a chiropractor. “I’ve had so many patients report to me that some doctor told them to stop running forever. I do everything I can to keep my patients running forever.”
