(Free-Press-Release.com) June 20, 2009 -- Edwin Dyson and team already hold Cheltenham’s Vintage Fashion Fairs twice a year at the Pump Rooms. This Wednesday is the first time they’ll be bringing the specialist Archive Fashion Fair to Cheltenham.

This event is more exclusive and smaller than the Vintage Fairs for one very good reason.

Everything that’s on the 12 stalls will not be newer than the 1950s. There’s everything from Victoriana, original 1920s flapper dresses, Home Front clothing from the 1940s and of course gorgeous items from the 50s. There are original accessories, jewellery and menswear available too. Demob and spiv suits a speciality.

All the stock on offer is original, pukka and there’s no repro.

Edwin Dyson, Archive Fair Organiser said: “Although the Vintage Fairs at the Pump Rooms are very popular, the range of stock includes all sorts of more retro items from the 70s and 80s. Feedback from my customers has indicated that people want to buy older, rarer items. There is nothing but quality stock available at the Archive Fair”.

Previous visitors to Archive Fairs in Bristol have said that they’ve enjoyed choosing key pieces for their wardrobe that they know no-one else in the UK will have. Older clothing has lasted this far due to the quality of materials used and the craftsmanship in construction. These clothes will last for a long long time.
