Folling the comments made below by "Derek Light" Attorney on the 21st May 2009,regarding application made by BUNDU GAS AND OIL / TEXAN JOHN ZETZMAN and SOUTH AFRICAN PETER PRICE(notated under release, below)
Tourism Corporation Africa have now briefed their Cape Town Attorneys and its Chairperson Lawrence Whittaker to challenge the minutes of the meeting made by Bundu Gas and Oil's director Peter Price ( by means of using a note pad during the curse of the meeting as opposed to recording equipment). Whitaker is in communication with their Johannesburg Attonreys. Two potent points are being "challenged" of the said minutes, regarding the "position of" Managing Director Andrew Shapland, who was paid by and acting at the request of owner Sarah Tompkins / Mark Tompkins, at the meeting; as well as a quuestion SHAPLAND raised and the manner in which it was undertaken, given "SHAPLAND was part of the said meeting". The questioned chaired, regarded John Zetzman and Peter Price giving a profile on themselves and Bundu of which they did not.
Tourism Corporation Africa Ltd, spokesperson, SHEREEZE LACHTMAN (who was present at the meeting) confirmed that the matter will if necessary be taken to The High Court of South Africa. We intend to ensure "minutes are documented correctly" and in the order the said meeting took place This will ensure that Mr SHAPLAND's career path and position in the industry is recorded legally correctly. So far as we are aware "Bundu Oil and Gas" do not wish the said minutes to be recorded as was, this case is now being tackled by the Chairman of Herold Gie Attorney's.
The case continues, regarding "explorations rights being given to Bundu Gas and Oil" in acccess of 35,000 hectares of land much of which includes the world renowned SAMARA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE.Professor Chris Harris of the University of Cape Town and other skilled personel have placed on record it is hight unlikely that John Zetzman and Bundu Gas and Oil are likely to be successful in their drilling programme.
PREVIOUS 21 May 2009:
Graaff-Reinet attorney Derek Light, representing the UK registered Woolhead Holdings Ltd, owners of the Samara Private Game Reserve, said the Bundu Gas & Oil Exploration company and the Petroleum Agency SA had failed to comply with the Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Act.
Light said the gas exploration company had closed its doors to him when he asked for information relating to Bundu. “This is unlawful,” said Light.
He also accused Bundu of hiding information about its black empowerment complement.
This was after Bundu’s John Zetzman, a Texan who has over 30years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, earlier refused to divulge details about Bundu’s funding and shareholding.
Light also accused Bundu of making promises of job creation opportunities, which they have not substantiated.
