FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) June 24, 2009 --

San Francisco, 24 June 2009 - Beginning last Thursday June 18th a group of Humanitarian Business people gathered at the historic Palace Hotel in downtown San Francisco. Humanity Unites Brilliance has managed to attract the who’s who of the self-help industry right from its inception just over a year ago. It could be a case of like attracts like. Mark Victor Hansen who co-wrote the huge bestseller Chicken Soup for The Soul is on the Board and his co-author Jack Canfield is Chairman. Then you have Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, one of the key stars of The Secret and a favourite guest of Oprah, who heads up the faculty of HUB.

Both Canfield and Beckwith spent almost a day each on stage. Barbara Marx Hubbard, the legendary leader of the Human Consciousness Movement closed out the event with a fabulous and energetic speech befitting of someone much younger than her 80’s.

In between Humanity Unites Brilliance Founding Executives Charlie Gay, Brandon Barnum, Spryte Loriano and Paul Hoffman all took to the stage to inspire members who came from all over the world including Australia and Canada.

While Humanity Unites Brilliance is becoming well known for their heart-centered and soul-centered seminars that include inspirational speakers as well as service in the community, it actually is a for-profit business. In fact its members are proud of the fact that for the time being they could be the only for-profit company anywhere that gives 40% of its monthly membership revenues to Feed & Educate Children, provide fresh drinking water to villages in Africa and Micro-Credit Loans. HUB calls this the Total Package that takes people from poverty to sustainability.

The company launched in the US in mid 2008 and in Canada late last year and has seen steady growth north of the border. Founding Arc Angel Allan Marston received four awards, the most of any recipient for his leading role in Canada. Based out of Calgary his group has been feeding the homeless and has inspired the community to volunteer at several activities since the company started in Canada.

“We impact close to 15,000 people every single month now in Africa and that doesn’t take into account what we do in our own community in Calgary,” said Mr Marston as he sat in the lobby of The Palace Hotel.

Mr Marston while on stage accepting The HUB Humanitarian Vision Award and The Member Impact In Action Award said that the call to serve the 35,000 children under the age of 5 years old who die every single day was too strong for him to turn his back on. “These kids are not dying from something that we need to find a cure for. They are dying from starvation and water-borne diseases, two things we can do something about. HUB has the road map, the plan, the vision and the people to spread the word and get a grassroots movement going that can eliminate this problem within our lifetime,” Mr Marston said as he appealed to the audience to get focused.

While many organizations pay huge sums to marketers and for advertising in the media, HUB pays that money out to its members to spread the word. For many of its members the business comes at an opportune time as the world economies have taken a serious dive and unemployment is at an all time high.

“There has never been a better time to be in business for oneself. When you can create meaning in your life and make money at the same time, when you can create impact in the world while creating an income for your family and when you can live on purpose while creating prosperity, this resonates with a lot of people,” said a very passionate Mr Marston.

Dr. Beckwith called the times we are living in an emerging paradigm and said that we do not have a shortage of anything except ideas and creativity.

San Francisco has already put HUB on notice that it wants more and Charlie Gay insisted that HUB will be back with a lot more very soon as membership in the city continues to grow.
