One of the most popular remote dog training collars on the market is the Dogtra 1900NCP. This is one of Dogtra's Pro-Line series models and is everything they say it is. This unit comes with a very nice case with foam inserts to keep things snug when in transit. The initial charge time is 12 hours you can charge for any lenth after the intial charge. The Receiver holds a charge for about 30 hours. Fully charged the collar flashed a green light half charge is yellow and time to recharge is Red. If you need more time field chargers are available. The lighted LCD readout gives you the Battery life and level of static correction 1 to 127 Levels just turn the dial. The Dogtra 1900 is a low to high powered unit and is great for the Stubborn Breeds from about 15 pounds and up. The standard collar Strap fits up to a 26" neck if you have a larger dog be sure to order a larger collar Strap. The straps can be cut to any size because the receiver box has a built in antenna and it's not woven in the collar. With 1/2 mile range your dog should never get away. This units has nick, Constant and Pager/Vibration mode. This unit does not have a tone mode. I really like the Pager mode as you can use this for positive reinforcement or train the dog to come only when paged. My only complaint is you cannot add more dogs. Dogtra offers a two dog unit called the 1902NCP. Dogtra also offers a 220V european charger, short, medium and large contact points. A basic training manual is included "NO DVD" I have used and recommend the dogtra 1900 to many K9-units and have only received positive comments. On a scale from 1 to 10 I would give it a 9.5 only because you cannot add addition collars later on.

Variable-Intensity Control

Unique to all Dogtra training collars is the patented rheostat variable intensity control. Because the units do not have any preprogrammed levels of stimulation, the Dogtra training collars can be dialed to an ultra-low setting for super sensitive dogs or be progressively increased based on the situation or dog's personality. All Dogtra training collars come standard with nick (momentary) and continuous stimulation features.

Pager/Vibration Mode standard on all NCP models
