Experience the State Fair of Texas from the Sheraton Dallas Hotel

The fair features live entertainment, midway rides and games, the annual Red River Rivalry, auto show, plenty of fascinating fried foods, and much more. The 2009 Stat Fair will feature on the Chevrolet Main Stage: En Vogue, Little Big Town, Duelo, and Zac Brown Band.

The State Fair is also home of the Red River Rivalry, the annual college football game between the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma. This event takes place at the Cotton Bowl Stadium located in Fair Park. Fans from both universities flood the State Fair wearing their schools respective colors in a truly dynamic college football experience. The game will take place on Saturday, October 17th.

State Fair of Texas exhibit buildings open at 10 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. each Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (closing at 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Midway opening times and closing times vary.
