Let's face it, many have been beaten down by the harsh and many times unforgiving economy. The big push is on to create what is often called a "knowledge based" economy. What better way to compliment this new economy than with individuals who are trained to communicate those new traits to countries and industries around the world with a combination of new and old(er) media options?

The MSU Advertising, Retail and Public Relations Graduate Program stated mission strives to provide a world-renowned education identical to the high quality of the on-campus program in the areas of advertising, public relations and retailing for students who desire flexible hours and a convenient location in the Detroit area.

Students have the option of taking up to 10 credits as a "lifelong learning" option to the course work that will count toward the 30 credits that are needed to complete the program with a Master's in Arts in Advertising, Retail or Public Relations. This option allows students to try out the masters program before being officially admitted into the graduate degree track.
