FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) July 2, 2009 --
Science has traditionally been considered a hard subject for students to master. It is often presented as a voluminous series of facts to be memorized for a test. It is no wonder students become intimidated. Our tutors make science interesting and easy to understand by organizing and connecting the many facts into fundamental concepts which are then connected so you "get the big picture.". We explain the content in multiple ways using everyday examples, illustrations, analogies, and experiences, while adapting to different learning styles and accommodating for any learning difficulties and scientific misconceptions. This can't be done in the typical lecture room.
Students often become overwhelmed by the vast amount of material and terms that make it seem like your dealing with a foreign language. We give you strategies for reading science textbooks, taking notes in class, taking science exams, managing time, and organizing scientific understanding in ways that will bring it alive and meaningful for you. We will also give you quizzes and practice tests, and immediately following, will go over your results focusing on missed questions.
Our tutors are extremely patient and create a comfortable atmosphere without distractions. We can offer tutoring in various science subject matter from sixth grade through college.
By working with you, one on one or in small groups of two or three, we can focus on those difficult areas that you personally need extra help. We are confident that you will achieve dramatic increases in your test scores, scientific comprehension, and acquire much more satisfaction with your learning.
We regularly work with your teachers and parents to insure that we resonate with what you are doing in class and at home. We are familiar with National and California Science standards and will often address these standards during our tutoring sessions.
If you are desire a tutor over an extended period, such as a semester, we will set up a contract to ensure you will meet your goals and expectations.
