Progressive, acute-care facility offering services such as cancer care, cardiac care, a full range of imaging services, labor and delivery suites, rehabilitation, surgical services and 24-hour emergency care. The medical staff represents a wide range of specialties including Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Hematology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Radiology, Urology and Wound Care just to name a few. This Nursing Position located east of Fort Worth.

The emphasis of nursing care will be on health maintenance, promotion of disease prevention, management of the acute or chronic illness and providing education in regard to self-care. This Nursing Management job consists of assisting in directing adequate qualified staff members to facilitate the medical plan of care, which meets the standards for nursing practice and provides for continuity of care for the client through communication with all disciplines. Identifies and participates in performance improvement activities. Nursing functions of the Registered Nurse are carried out according to system standards of care, the hospital mission statement, and the Department of Nursing.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Certifications / Licenses:
• Current license with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners
• Current certification of Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR)
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ALCS) within 6 months of employment
