"We shouldn't underestimate customer resistance - it's a very potent factor in business when folks are stretching their budgets and need to make the right purchase the first time... and in fact if you are the cheapest vendor many customers will avoid you like the plague because their concern is to make a one-time investment and cry once, not buy cheap, have the widget break, and have to buy the more costly one anyway."
Woirhaye is passionate. "I haven't figured out exactly what to call what I do for clients - it's much more than just cranking-out lively salesletters and email copy.
