Cruel animal transportation under Indian Army supply cover - Naresh Kadyan

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 12, 2009 -- Indian Standard Institution - ISI specified the vehicles to carry animals and Cattle Transport Rules, 1978 modified in 2001 define the system, where as toothless Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 failed to control this crime against animals only due to minor punishments along with non-cognizable offense in legal terms.

Sheep's and goats are being shifted in a double decor position 275 in a vehicles against 40 as legal numbers from Rajasthan to J&K via Delhi. Local Police and so called animal rights activist provide these vehicles safe passage for their personnel gain and profit, SPCA Delhi as well.

Every day Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and J&K Police observed these kinds of animal cruelty every where on roads, National highways even but who bothers. The International Organization for Animal Protection - OIPA in India along with the People for Animals (PFA) Haryana tried to control....moved a public interest litigation - PIL in the High Court at Chandigarh. Naresh Kadyan cought two trucks of sheep's in a double decor position ...handed over to the SHO, Police Station, Rai in Sonepat then 5 trucks to Police Station, Thanesar - Pipli in Kurukshetra but PS, Rai left both two vehicles with animals after accepting bribe, DGP Haryana failed to take legal action against the tainted Police officials.

Under RTI Act, 2005 OIPA INDIA and PFA Haryana collected the information from the Indian Army head quarter about cruel animal transportation under Indian Army supply cover but Indian Army refused to commit any crime against law of the land, relation with these kinds of vehicles as well. It would be pertinent to mention here that it is the responsibility of the contractor / supplier to supply animals for slaughter to the Indian Army, Indian Army will be responsible after accepting animals there in J&K not here in Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi and Punjab, then why Police / enforcement agencies failed to take legal action against the offenders ?????????
Let us empowered OIPA in India / PFA Haryana like SPCA Delhi then we all see the results in a day.
