Silent Planet at Butlers Coffee August 21st, from 7 to 9 PM in Palmdale, CA

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 16, 2009 -- DesertSong Productions and the Antelope Valley Guitar Society have teamed up to bring this Modern Celtic powerhouse to Butler's in a free show.
This five member Celtic/World band blends the unique sounds of bagpipe, mandolin, guitar, bass guitar, snare drum, violin and more, To deliver a compelling, dynamic performance rooted in the Irish and Scottish tradition, combined with folk, rock, jazz and classical elements.

The first hour of this monthly series is an Open Mic, allowing artists to display their original compositions and performance skills. After that, Silent Planet takes over and is sure to rock not only the house, but the whole block.
