Real Time Freight Continues to Expand its Suite of Products and Services

Today RTFS announced the release of three new products. “As a recognized technology leader, Real Time Freight has a constant goal to not only enrich the current suite of products and continue to add value to the existing systems, but to continually release new products that are cutting edge and are value-add to large organizations,” stated Adam Saffro, Vice President of Marketing.

Today’s announcement is specific to three new products; The Real Time Freight RFP Solution, the Real Time Freight Auto-Tender Solution, and the Real Time Freight Rate Analysis Solution. With Real Time Freight Auto-Tendering, shippers can automatically tender loads to carriers based on predetermined requirements set by the shipper. With this built in ‘business intelligence’ shippers can get extremely sophisticated as to who to award each and every load to based on prearranged requirements, current carrier contracts, ‘real-time’ bids, and on market rates. “The huge benefit to the Auto Tender system is that it guarantees that a shipper will get the best deal on every load every day, and do it without every having to ‘touch’ a load” said Jim Vrtis Real Time Freight’s CEO.

The Real Time Freight RFP solution allows shippers to easily execute a Request for Proposal. “A few short mouse clicks is all it can take to create and distribute an RFP,” commented Vrtis. Shippers can invite their pre-qualified transportation contacts to participate in an RFP session as well as reach out to the 15,000 carriers that are already members of the Real Time Freight community for more exposure. These RFP sessions help shippers manage their contracted lanes and provide a single on-demand system to easily consolidate, organize, schedule, host, and award lanes to selected transportation partners. Once an RFP session is finalized, shippers can then select the ‘winning’ transportation partners in conjunction with the Auto-Tender.

With Real Time Freight Rate Analysis, shippers can, in ‘real-time’ see valuable data about historical and current market rates from multiple sources that will allow them to make much better decisions and more easily determine what would be the appropriate rate on an given traffic lane.
