Toronto Entrepreneur Launches a Series of Self-Esteem Workshops For Teenage Girls and Young Women

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 21, 2009 -- Toronto, ON – DARE TO BE REAL TM Coaching & Consulting has just unveiled a series of essential life and leadership workshops geared towards empowering teenage girls and young women. The program focuses on inspiring compassion, acceptance and respect for self and others, and challenges participants to ‘dare to be real’ as a way to connect and grow into their full potential.

“The workshops create a safe place for participants to release unexpressed emotions that can result in destructive behavior. I want them to know there's another way - one that's easier and less painful,” says Mena Gagné, Founder of DARE TO BE REALä Coaching & Consulting. “The workshops also refine and reinforce essential skills that are integral for both personal and professional development but are not formally taught in school.”

Participants enrolled in the workshops will broaden their perspective on life and gain awareness of tools, strategies and coping skills that they can leverage to better navigate through whatever challenges life throws at them, minimizing symptoms including depression, bullying, suicide, anxiety, eating disorders, etc. Some of the highlights of the workshop include hearing Mena’s personal story of how she transformed her life by overcoming various challenges and limiting beliefs developed from childhood; learning how to discover one’s purpose and passion; and discovering how to create a healthy, loving relationship with self.
