(Free-Press-Release.com) July 23, 2009 -- Beyond the Rainbow Foundation hosts the Aloha Team Classic - 2009 this October 18th to the 21st in Maui, Hawaii. Participants from across the country will travel to Maui for a great golf vacation/tournament knowing that their participation is helping the Foundation support Maui's youth based agencies.

Beyond the Rainbow Foundation an all volunteer organization is focused on "Helping Maui's youth realize the promise of their future!" and the Aloha Team Classic is the primary source of funding. The Aloha Team Classic, a great event that is helping the kids!

This year's event will be held October 18th - 21st.

This four day event starts with the Welcome Reception. The evening event includes a great locations with a sunset view, fantastic food, the opportunity to meet all your fellow participants and Foundation volunteers as well as having some tropical refreshments. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet the LPGA Tour Professionals that will be taking part in the event.

The three days of golf will be on three world class courses; The King Kamehameha Golf Club (Maui’s exclusive private country club which visitors normally have no way to get onto), Kapalua Resort’s Bay Course and Kapalua Resort’s Plantation Course (home to the SBS Championship – previously the Mercedes-Benz Championship). Each day begins with a continental breakfast and after golf we have a full lunch during which the daily prizes are awarded.

There will also be two additional evening events. This year one evening will be a wine tasting dinner and the finale will be a special dining experience that everyone will enjoy.

The tournament itself includes all three rounds noted above and each team will be made up of two players. If players do not have a playing partner they will be matched them up with a playing partner. The event is fully handicapped and prizes are awarded for both the individual days performance as well as for the three day cumulative score. The format of play changes each day and there are also daily prizes given for closest to the pin, etc. We also have a “Hole-in-One”Cash prize each day as well.

Optionally participants will have the option of playing 0, 1, 2 or 3 of their rounds with LPGA tour professionals. Playing with a tour professional is a real treat. The LPGA players hit the ball so crisply and are so consistent that every amateur can learn a great deal from them. Not to mention watching them around and on the greens is always fascinating. Each team that chooses to play with one of the gals will have them playing along side them as their coach for the day.

The LPGA players will also be holding a clinic on Tuesday afternoon where the girls will share some of the techniques they use in various circumstances. After they demonstrate the right way do it, participants will also have the chance to try it themselves during a “Big Break” style challenge.
