Russian business resource auctions banner ad space on Ebay

A new online magazine providing analysis, commentary and news on business in Russia, has today launched an Ebay auction to sell the exclusive rights to their prime banner position for 12 months.

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 24, 2009 -- BSR-Russia.com is the website for Business Special Report Magazine, a monthly digital publication which features news, interviews, analysis and commentary on the Russian business sector. The magazine is read by leading figures in Russian politics, business and commerce together with foreign diplomats.

Business Special Report and http://www.BSR-Russia.com are published by Media Solutions International, a British company dedicated to developing digital media resources globally. The website launched in mid-June 2009 and has already generated over 100,000 hits. Proceeds from the auction will be re-invested in the website with the aim of generating in excess of 2 million impressions of the winners banner advert during the 12 months it will be displayed.

Saif Bonar, Managing Director of Media Solutions said of the auction “We thought an e-bay auction would be a fun and innovative way of selling one of the premium banner slots on the BSR website. It has the advantage of attaching a deadline for selling the space and provides a realistic chance of securing a fair price for the ad position.”

The auction is now live on Ebay and ends on 03 Aug, 2009 at 11:13:07 BST.
