Launches Free Recession Survival Resource Site

Dismayed over the massive bailouts for Wall Street and so little government action
Directed to the average American, Bruce David did something about it to help his fellow citizen. With no website design background he launched the The Poor Man’s Recession Survival Center.

The site is a clearinghouse or gateway of useful consumer resources in such areas as finding a job, getting free grant money, DIY alternative energy plans, DYI debt reduction strategies, starting a neighborhood food co-op, neighborhood barter group, finding free legal help, what to do when you get laid off, and more.

The site, launched in January of this year, continues to grow in popularity and David now offers a free ‘PoorMan Bulletin,’ a weekly newsletter featuring additional tips and resources along with his ‘politically incorrect’ perspectives on how the American public got taken for a ride by Wall Street and our government.

David welcomes input from the public. “I’m always seeking new resources that can be included; things that will help the general public without a lot of expense. Out of necessity, most of us have become frugal penny pinchers and that’s what the site is all about.”

“My feeling is that there will be no meaningful recovery until decent paying jobs are available. If people can’t afford a new car, who cares what rebates the government will offer? Our government should focus its efforts on making our country energy independent, getting us off our oil addiction and putting people to work rebuilding a national rail service, creating low cost solar and wind turbine devices and related work.”
