For the Extended family of the SOS Children’s Village Graduate Association

We, the former SOS children of the SOS family, now living independently in our own communities, gather around the principle of eternal brotherliness, which is based on the spirit of love ingrained in us through our mutual experiences, We celebrate together our joys and we minimize our grief, we do not monopolize the good to ourselves, nor do we stretch out evil towards others. Neither color or gender or language disunites us, nor does religion or blood separate us. All are equal in front of our duties and rights. Throughout the years we with courage, glory, and dignity have erected bonds of sincere fraternity so as to reinforce the extended family of the SOS Children's Village into a global family. We pledge to continue to be an upstanding model for those who might want to follow our convoy.

We, the former SOS children, members of this extended family, wherever we have been and whatever we attained in our life, are committed every time to be an ambassador with the vision and message of our home mother the SOS Children's Village International. We proceed in gratitude and thankfulness by endorsing the continuation of its longed for vision: the preservation of each persons dignity through the supportive development of each child towards the abstaining path.

We, members of the former SOS extended family, always crave after reciprocation of thoughts, experiments, experiences and relations in all aspects of life. We aim to continue the humanitarian connections, contacts and deeds so as to better ourselves and to benefit the communities around us. We strive to achieve stability on every frontier.

We, the members of the extended family, through our association as family form a net of safety, peace and true development. We reject all harms regardless of their shape, kind, name or range that fall on ourselves or on others, or that might be caused by us or others. In whatever ways we may differ in our views; calm dialogue is our method for achieving our noble humanitarian goals. Whether with a smile or in dispute, we are in need of each other. Within our demands exists our needs. Therefore, our call to be ambassadors for future generations has the potential of being a great gift which we will not ignore.

We present this model of extended family to the former children of other SOS Children's Villages International, in hopes that they will want to join us in our work. We move forward, starting from the principle of everlasting brotherhood, with a commitment to offering all means of growth to the family and its members,concluding with our commitment to deepen stability, and to measure the effectiveness of our efforts. We also acknowledge that our dreams will be best translated into reality by expanding our honest dialogue to the participation of others as well as through our deeds and garnering of rich experiences,
