Let's Talk About Church/My Other Rib

This blog will discuss various topics, issues, and concerns centered on today's Christian church. Using the word of GOD, topics will be introduced starting with ACTS, systematically and weekly, in order to arrive at a consensus on the state of the current church. Dialog will be helpful to all of us as we prepare diligently for the return of the only great and wonderful Messiah; Jesus the Christ. Since Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever; we will exam the purpose of the Christian church from the point of time when the Holy Spirit ignited and filled the early church until right now. Is today's church on point with the great commission and calling of Jesus Christ or is it irrelevant and insignificant in a world filled with different religions and practices? Is the church of Christ indeed the light of the world?

My Other Rib:

God's will from the very beginning was for all creation to have a partner to walk together in the Lord's purpose & plan, navigate through life, grow in companionship & pleasure, and for procreation. One of the problems we have in finding our life partner is trying to attach or rejoin a part of a rib that does not fit with the other part of the authentic rib. In other words, a rib that is properly joined together will walk and agree with God's will when it relates to spiritual, financial. family, emotional, and physical. Two people don't have to agree on everything but there should be some consensus and unity in all of these areas. The word of God constantly touches on being on one accord, being like minded, unity, being one in spirit, faith, baptism, love, Jesus, & the Holy Spirit.

The purpose of this site is to set up a forum for people to discover their other part of the rib. The goal is for the membership base in My Other Rib to grow from the readers, fellow believers, and fellowship from Let's Talk About Church. Starting from scratch allows for better screening to weed out those who desire to use the service for other purposes other than finding that life partner or friendship. We believe God's word that he created someone for everyone. Pray & ask Jesus to reveal that someone through the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul said it is better for some to not be married because they could serve the lord with a greater purpose but those that burn with passion-Get Married.
